Wow.
Its been a while.
Life changes fast. New year. New job. New goals.
I am excited about the possibilities to come.
I have some what neglected Pete Eatemall. I have tons of pics and I am ready to post. New schedules are set. I hope blogging is like riding a bike and I can get back on and start moving. 2010 here we come!
New News.
I have joined the circus. I am currently working for Cirque Du Soleil. I am in the kitchen. I enjoy my time there and have learned much about not just cooking but conviction and discipline. I hope to post some of the recipes I make there...breads, cakes, cookies and more. Its been years since I have had a boss. I am not sure how long I will stay with Cirque but for now I am grateful for the opportunity.
So get ready for orange chocolate cake, banana peanut chocolate chip cake, mini cupcakes galore, dulce de leche tres leches cake, peach upside down cake and lemon tree goodness. Make plans for healthy smoothies, big salads, home made dressings and new farmers market finds. Get your forks and bellies ready. Pete Eatemall is hungry and the "wish to bake list" is long.
So even if I am a little late ...Happy New Year. And now more than ever its important with all the changes the world is seeing on so many fronts...make something homemade and share it with someone you love. Community is promise. Food can heal...make time.
Here are some pics of cooking and baking that I ended my year with. 2009 was amazing. 2010 is sure to not disappoint.

Side Notes: The BBA challenge is still going strong. I am behind...posting and baking. The Bread Baker's Apprentice has been in my bag everyday for work and I have used it well. Please check out these other bakers that have been baking their hearts out! I hope to get caught up soon! So much bread so little time.

Sending love...
